We bid farewell to Barbara Stehouwer (Brampton, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 3, 2025 at the age of 86. Barbara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Barbara may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She is survived by: her husband Geerit; her siblings, Dirkje, Teunie and Peter; and her children, Marcia, Peter (Michelle), Arnold (Sonya), Gerald (Monica), Leonard (Renée) and Agnes (Francisco). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home ~ Brampton Chapel (289 Main St N, Brampton, ON L6X1N5). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Heritage Hall (7900 McLaughlin Rd, Brampton, ON L6Y5A7).
