Bindrawattee Rishy-Maharaj Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bindrawattee Rishy-Maharaj (Brampton, Ontario), who passed away on June 27, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Bhagirath (Ricky); her children, Savi, Ravi, Daya, Rudra and Shanta; her children-in-law, Krishan Khanna, Jennifer Rishy-Maharaj and Graham Bartsch; her grandchildren, Dev, Meera, Nandini, Nityan and Mahesh; her siblings, Mohan, Rajdaye, Khiemti, Roy and Indrani; her siblings-in-law, Tura (Mohan), Basdeo (Rajdaye), Gerry (Khiemti), Sandra (Roy), Alvin (Indrani), Ram, Ruby, Bree, Chandra, Ramesh and Uma; and her aunts, Betty, Naani and Ajee.

To safely manage and adhere to social distancing requirements, please RSVP for the visitation and service. Respecting the current situation and pandemic restrictions, a Private Family funeral service and cremation will be held on Monday at 11:30 a. m.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home "Brampton Chapel" on Sunday July 4, from 1:00 - 7:00 p.m. By request of the family in lieu of flowers, please make charitable donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
