He was predeceased by: his wife Jane Lindsay. He is survived by: his daughter Maegan (Jess); his parents, Glenna Carmichael and Paul Carmichael; his parents-in-law, Val and Jim Pollock; his siblings, Glen Carmichael (Heather), Andrea Scott (Rob), Susan Buchanan (Paul), Rob Carmichael (Bibiana), Karen Henderson (Steve) and Jane Kennedy (Kevin); his siblings' children, Courtney Scott, Nicholas Carmichael, Cameron Buchanan, Kaitlyn Buchanan, Brandon Henderson and Brianna O'Donnell; his aunt Barb; his uncle Bob Martin; his cousins, Josh (Shelley) and Julie Kuiper (Gary); and his siblings' children, Lindsay, Taylor and Chris Vagenas.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Princess Margaret Hospital in Brian's memory would be greatly appreciated by the families.
