He is survived by: his wife Trudy Cowan (Smithson); his children, Raechel and Logan; his siblings, Tracy Patterson (Kingston), David Cowan and Shelley Kellner (Lajos); his nieces and nephews, Melissa (Zac), Daniel (Aleksandra), Bryanna, Samantha, Eric (Meagan), Blake and Aaron; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mara and Kingston. He is also survived by his extended family; and the many friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Home of Shelley and Lajos Kellner.
