He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Kelly Welsh-Burns; his children, Katie Allen (Jason) and Sydney Burns; his grandchildren, Ayden, Caleb and Aubrey; his parents, Phil Burns and Christina Burns; and his siblings, Phil (Lori), Elaine and Andrew (Christine). He was also cherished by his many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations would be greatly appreciated to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation or to the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society.
