She was predeceased by: her husband Allen "Al" Bakker; and her parents, Arthur Olsen and Doris Olsen. She is survived by: her children, Shannon (Mark), Katelyn (Tyler), Sherri (George), Kim (Todd) and Ryan; her grandchildren, Mallory (Connor), Matthew (Elyssa), Ryan (Stephanie), Justin (Stephanie), Jordyn, Riannon and Madelyn; and her great grandchildren, Jack, Grace, Noah and Hannah.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home ~ Brampton Chapel (289 Main St N, Brampton, ON L6X1N5).
