She was predeceased by: her parents, Arendina Plomp and Herman Hoogendoorn; her spouse Marinus DeBonte; and her siblings, Dien, Willem, Alida, Herman, Roeland and Cornelia.
She is survived by: her sister Johanna; her sons, Martin Geleynse (Rose) and Eric Geleynse (Elizabeth); her daughter-in-law Anna Dykstra (Henry); her grandchildren, Melissa Nodwell (Jon), Michelle Hordyk (Colin), Daniel Geleynse (Julianne) and Sarah Coto (Alfonso); her great grandchildren, Jordan, Adelynn Nodwell, Brynlie, Colden Hordyk, Sebastian, Luka and Lilah Coto; her stepsons, Harold (Debbie) and Robert DeBonte; her stepgrandsons, Richard (Kerry), Joshua (Melanie), Curtis and Matthew (Julianna); and her stepgreat-grandsons, Nicholas and Daniel.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Heritage Fellowship Christian Reformed Church (7900 McLaughlin Rd, Brampton, ON L6Y4X3). A reception was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Horizon Hall (45 Kingknoll Dr, Brampton, ON L6Y5P2).
