He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hoffman and Annie Hoffman; and his siblings, William, Albert, Ted, Ron, Gordon, Marjorie, Laura, Dorothy, Marion, Evelyn, Vickie and Gloria.

He is survived by: his brother Carman.
