He was predeceased by: his wife Maria; and his daughter Fernanda. He is survived by: his children, Deolinda, Antuerpia, Fatima, Manuel, Rosa, Ricky and Helen; and his sister Maria Inez Ferreira. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
