It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Douglas Thompson (Brampton, Ontario), born in Newmarket, Ontario, who passed away on January 11, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Bill Thompson; his wife Dorothy; and his parents, Bruce and Gladys. He is survived by: his siblings, Charlotte Stier (Thompson) and Brian Thompson; his brother-in-law Heinz; his stepchildren, Jeremy and Liza; and his siblings' children, Crystal (Grant), Jason (Heather), Serena (Kent), Chris (Michelle) and Shaun. He is also survived by extended family and friends.

If desired in lieu of flower, memorial donation can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association or Toronto General Hospital Kidney Foundation.
