He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Danya, Jonathan (Sam), Darby, Grace, Marley, Brandon, Katherine and John; his sister-in-law Margaret; his brothers, John and Roy; his siblings' children, David and Joey; and his son-in-law Giancarlo.

He is survived by: his wife Venice; and his children, Tracey (Giancarlo Predeceased), Greg (Rhonda), Amanda (Steven) and Dale.

In light of the current global pandemic with the present restrictions placed on group gatherings by the government, attendance at the funeral home has been restricted to 30% capacity.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of George made to Sunnybrook Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
