He was predeceased by: his parents, Millicent White McLean and Nathan McLean (Mark); and his brothers, Bill McLean, Clifton McLean, Videl McLean and Derrick McLean (Rick).

He is survived by: his wife Sandria; his children, Hopeton McLean, Sonia McLean, Lolleta McLean, Barbara McLean, Nicola McLean, Glennel McLean Jr. (Bobby), David McLean (Dean), Cavell McLean-Davis, Anthony McLean, Simone Scott, Conroy Campbell, Leroy Barnett and Kimone Barnett; and his siblings, Fitz Hugh Roy McLean, Hyacinth Samuels, John McLean, Evelyn Bogle, Raymond McLean, Rona McLean, Colleen Talley and Janice McLean. He is also survived by thirty-four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
