He was predeceased by: his brothers, James (Shirley), Scott and Doug; and also Ian. He is survived by: his close friend Edna; his children, Andy, Erin O'Flynn, Wendy and Terry Empey; his grandchildren, Amanda Bruce (Kevin), Hayley Weszner (Kyle), Alannah Gillan (Michael) and Bret MacDonald (Ashley Morrison); his great grandchildren, Madison, Blake, Lucas and Ava; his siblings, Joan and Shirley Townsend; his siblings-in-law, Ken (Judy), Herb, Joanne and Helen; and also Colin (late Marie). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
