He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Josephine and Keith; his son Greggory; his wife Donna; his children, James (Indra) and Stacy (late Bob Dignan); his grandchildren, Nick (Lindsay), Natalie (Dylan Evans), Jonathan, Taylor, Emily and Brandon; his great grandchildren, Landon and Felicity; and his brother Daniel. He was also cherished by his family, friends.

In light of the pandemic, with present restrictions imposed by the government, visitation has been limited to a capacity of 36 guests.
