He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Rose; and his sister Mary Near. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Jane; his daughters, Judith (Terry) and Debra (Ahmed); his grandchildren, Jessica (Moussa), Sarah (Mike) and Aaron; and his great grandchildren, Sami and Julian.
