She was predeceased by: her parents, Geert Draaistra and Jacoba Draaistra; and her siblings, Sietske (Pier Krist), Henke (Jakkela Brouwer), Mike (Cornelia) and Andries.

She is survived by: her brothers, Jan (Jantje), Hans (Doete) and Tom (Tine); and her sister-in-law Riemie. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, and friends.
