With profound sadness, we say goodbye to João Ferreira (Brampton, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. João left this world on July 11, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy João leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though João may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his children, Dalia (Jack), John (Lucy), Maria (Fernando), Connie (Carlos), Humberto (Julie) and George (Rosa). He is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery (10061 Chinguacousy Rd, Brampton, ON L7A0H6). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (101 Malta Ave., Brampton, ON L6Y4C8). A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery (10061 Chinguacousy Rd, Brampton, ON L7A0H6).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in João's memory.
