In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Joao leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Joao may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Gorete Pereira; his children, Angelo (Sarah), Daniel (Marilena) and Sofia (Steve); and his grandchildren, Alexia, Nathan, Francesco, Santino and Soren. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A burial was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery (10061 Chinguacousy Rd, Brampton, ON L7A0H6).
