John Kearns Obituary

We bid farewell to John Kearns (Brampton, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 9, 2026 at the age of 77. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Kearns and Anna Kearns; his son Sean Clark; and his brother Philip Kearns. He is survived by: his wife Maire; his daughters, Sara and Meghan; his grandchildren, Jack, Owen, Benjamin, Charlie and Eve; his sisters, Patricia Windrim (late Tom), Margaret Munce (Cliff), Helen Ousterhout (late Gary) and Kathryn Bouffard (late Carl); his sister-in-law Mary; and his brothers, Peter (Bonnie) and Jim (late Sandra). He is also survived by his community, friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery (10061 Chinguacousy Rd, Brampton, ON L7A0H6). A burial will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cremated Remains Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery (10061 Chinguacousy Rd, Brampton, ON L7A0H6). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery (10061 Chinguacousy Rd, Brampton, ON L7A0H6).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation or the SickKids Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
