He was predeceased by: his mother Goldie Matthews; his brother Todd Matthews; and his son Darryl. He is survived by: his father Ren Matthews (Bonita); his children, Brent (Tracy), Janet and Janice; his grandchildren, Zoey, April, JaneMarie, Adrian and Tevonte; and his siblings, Yvonne (Boyd), Terry (Karen), Patti (Cory) and Harry (Cindy).
