He was predeceased by: his parents, Jannetje Jacob and Jan Jacob; his siblings, Jan Jacob, Teunis "Ted" (late Alice), Willem (Aartje), Albert (late Helen), Gerrit (late Geertje), Jannetje "Jannie" and Evert; and his brother-in-law Henk van der Mey (late Margaret "Gre").
He is survived by: his wife Nelly; his daughters, Jeanette (Charles), Patricia (Jim) and Theresa (Tom); his grandchildren, Adriana, Cassandra, Fiona and Kieran; his sisters, Aaltje "Alie" (late Gerrit) and Willempje "Willy" (late Gerrit); and his sister-in-law Aartje (late Willem). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
