He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his children, Steven Bergie (Katrina), Gene Bergie (Lee), Lori Henderson (Greg) and Clayton Bergie (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Adam (Alexandra), Nikole (Miguel), Matthew, Kayleigh (Devon), Shaun, Keri, Brieanna, Brittney (Douglas), Braedan (Kathleen), Brooke (Andy), Ryley (Max), Jayden, Josh, Millie, Cody, Natalie, Gabriella, Matteo, Jordyn, Kara, Elyjah, Ariel, William, Nora, Aubrey, Evie, Blake, Ethan and Nova. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 19th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ward Funeral Home - Brampton Chapel (52 Main St S, Brampton, ON L6W2C5). A Mass was held on Thursday, August 20th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (66 Main St S, Brampton, ON L6W2C6). A burial was held on Thursday, August 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mount Peace Cemetery (3204 Cawthra Rd, Mississauga, ON L5A2X6).
