With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Laurenio Farias (Brampton, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 9, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Januaria Farias and Antonio Farias (late Natalia Farias). He is survived by: his spouse Aldina; his children, Margaret (late Joe Trovao), Ross, Anna (Leo Dosen), Menna (Tony Praticante) and Lucy; his grandchildren, Kenny (Kelsey Trovao), Brittney, Amber and Brayden; his great grandchildren, Elena, Kasper, Karver and Kolby; and his siblings, Maria, Carmo (late Antonio Cabral), Theresa (Duarte Viveiros), Josemaria (late Genoveva Faria), Gilberto (Silvana Faria), Victor (Asceicao Faria) and Duarte (Lydia Farias). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home ~ Brampton Chapel (289 Main St N, Brampton, ON L6X1N5). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Eugene de Mazenod Catholic Church (1252 Steeles Ave W, Brampton, ON L6Y0A2). A burial will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the Brampton Funeral Home and Cemetery (10061 Chinguacousy Rd, Brampton, ON L7A0H6).
