He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Teer of Toronto; his daughter Linda Carol; and his siblings, Gilbert and Betty Hamm. He is survived by: his children, Sandra (Bill Richards) of Saskatoon, Ken (Meeka Aqqiaruq) of Arviat and Colleen Maracle of Brampton; his grandchildren, Jamie, Sam Maracle, Arthur, Craig, Patrick Beardsall and Liam Richards; his great-niece Laura Kudluk; and his brother Robert (Marilyn). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
