“I worked with Lurvey at Fairbank Middle School for many years. He was a wonderful Principal and supported the students and staff with a kind heart and a dedicated spirit. I never saw him angry or lose his calm composure. He was a gentle leader who genuinely cared about the well-being of his students. He dedicated so many hours after school with the students who really needed a positive role model, and they truly looked up to him. He was very well-respected by staff and he won't be forgotten”
