He was predeceased by: his parents, John Norman and Edna MacKeigan (MacAulay); his brothers, Donald, John, Arthur, David and Stewart; his nephew Ian; and his sister Flora.

He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughters, Kimberley MacKeigan (Vaughn Wamboldt) and Cindy MacKeigan; his grandchildren, Tyler and Aiden; his nephew Walter Bruce (Krista); his sisters, Marjorie (Blaise), Kaye (Eddie), Norma and Barbara; his aunt Isabel Hall; and his uncle Norman MacAulay. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
