It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Elizabeth Van Vliet in Brampton, Ontario, born in North Bay, Ontario, who passed away on March 27, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dick; her parents, Norman Hill and Elizabeth Hill (MacDonald); her siblings, Lois Lindsay (Bob) and Les Hill; and also, Neil, Peter Van Vliet, Betty Millenaar (Bert) and Agnes Brunskill (Murray).

She is survived by: her brother-in-law Bruce Van Vliet (Ellie); her children, Anne (Ron), Jane (late Jim), Ohio and Michael (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Andrew (Laura), Michael, Graham, Sarah McClure, Grace, Hayley Tschudy, Katherine, Abigail and Tessa Van Vliet; her great grandchildren, Arthur and Elizabeth McClure; and her numerous MacDonald. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
