With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martje Smit (Brampton, Ontario), who passed away on December 4, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Geertje and Sytze; her spouse Tjeerd; and her children, Edna (George Voogd), Margaret (John Bloemendal) and Martin (Patricia).
In light of the current global pandemic with the present restrictions placed on group gatherings by the government, attendance at the funeral home and cemetery has been limited to fully vaccinated guests only.
