He is survived by: his parents, Ellie and Leslie; his siblings, Andrea and Amanda; and his nieces and nephews, Darius, Marcus and Kaveh. He is also survived by his many family and friends.

“Mike… I can’t believe your not here. My heart is broken. You were an amazing person inside and out! I miss our late nights. You were a hero to have saved your grandma’s life…and took care of her with lots of love!!! I really miss you and I was thinking about you. Once I found out I completely shut everyone out! “Our hearts are so broken. There are no words to describe how sorry we are. Allan and Mike were friends since they were young. He is part of our family. When Michael lived with my mother (gramma) he saved her life. She mistakenly took her medication twice and he heard her fall down. He ran upstairs and found her on the floor and called the ambulance. She had no pulse. The doctors didn't think she would make it but miraculously she pulled through. She is as heart broken as we all are. Love Kelly f”
