With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Wawryshyn (Brampton, Ontario), who passed away on October 13, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Helen; and his sister Mary. He is survived by: his daughters, Olena (Oleh Leszczyszyn) and Oksana Wawryshyn; his sister Anne Wawryshyn; his brother-in-law Ron Berketa; and his nieces, Stephanie Dawe (Greg) and Christine Yuzwin (Nick).
He was a Canadian Foundation for Ukrainian Studies board member and belonged to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church and numerous other organizations.
