She was predeceased by: her husband Ellis Astur Ibanez. She is survived by: her children, Cristhian Ibanez (Cynthia), Javier Ibanez (Chrysta), Martin Ibanez (Priscilla) and Anna Laura Casariego (Jose); her grandchildren, Lorena, Jesse, Cristhian, Sebastian, Daniel, Jacob, Noah, Kassia, Mateo, Sophia and Laura; and her great grandchildren, Isabel and Ellis.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (1624 Wanless Dr, Brampton, ON L7A0A7). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery (10061 Chinguacousy Rd, Brampton, ON L7A0H6).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mirtha's memory may be made to SickKids Foundation, supporting The Hospital for Sick Children.
