She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Sutherland and George Sutherland; her children, Kimberley and David; and her brother Billy.

She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer; her brother Bob Sutherland; her son-in-law Mike; her granddaughters, Kayley and Alyssa; Kayley and Alyssa. She is also survived by sister-in-law, nephews and friends.

The family requests that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket in lieu of flowers.
