Peter Armoogam Obituary

In Loving Memory of Peter N. Armoogam After a courageous battle with Sarcoidosis we announce the sudden passing of Peter Armoogam on June 5, 2022 at the Brampton Civic Hospital. Born March 17, 1965 to cherished parents; the late Ivan Armoogam and the late Marlene Armoogam, Peter joins his Lord in Heaven at the age of 57 years. Beloved husband of Darlene Armoogam, and loving father of Joshua Armoogam and Matthew Armoogam. Peter is survived by his brothers; Alan Armoogam and Gregory Armoogam, as well as his in laws; Beverly & Brian Veaudry. Proud uncle to 5 nieces and 4 nephews. Predeceased by brother in law; Gary Giesler. Peter will be greatly missed by his loving family, and will be fondly remembered for his commitment to his family and his love for God.

Peter worked for 36 years with the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario "MTO" in Toronto where he made many friends over the years. As a parishioner he was affiliated and involved in his local church the Kennedy Road Tabernacle and Regeneration Brampton.

Many thanks to Dr. Max Wong for his devoted care in helping Peter manage his respiratory disease "Sarcoidosis" over the years.

Donations in memory of Peter to the National Sarcoidosis Organization (Canada) & Canadian Sarcoidosis Organization would be appreciated by the family.

Family and friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home - Brampton Chapel (289 Main Street North) on Friday June 17, 2022 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. A funeral service will take place the following day at the Kennedy Road Tabernacle (141 Kennedy Road North) at 12:00pm, there will be a viewing at the church from 11:00am to 12:00pm. Peter will be laid to rest at the Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery (10061 Chinguacousy Road).
