He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Pougnet and Nesta Pougnet. He is survived by: his daughter Megan (Ahsan); and his sisters, Arlene (Norton), Pamela (Amit), Lorainne (Krishna) and Patricia (Roger). He is also survived by his nieces, nephew, and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Jerome's Parish (8530 Chinguacousy Rd, Brampton, ON L6Y5G4). A committal service was held on Tuesday, February 24th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the St. John's Dixie Cemetery (737 Dundas St E, Mississauga, ON L4Y2B5).
