He is survived by: his parents, Adrianus and Margaretha; his wife Deborah; his children, William and Melissa; his granddaughter Sapphira; and his siblings, Paul (Jennifer) and Margaretha (Darren).

In light of the current global pandemic with the present restrictions placed on group gatherings by the government, attendance at the funeral home has been restricted to a maximum capacity of 36 people.
