She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Federico Leal; her parents, Basilia Purisima and Andres Cardenas; her son Aurelio Leal (Portia); her grandchildren, Jessica Leal and Fred Leal (Grace Cardenas); her great grandchildren, Melissa, Eduard Alibadbad and Bethany Leal-Iyoupe; and her sister Martha De Villa.

In light of the current global pandemic with the present restrictions placed on group gatherings by the government, attendance at the funeral home has been restricted to a maximum capacity of 10 people.
