She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Gregory; her parents, Mabel Dugas and Jean Dugas; her children, Sheila (Bruno Crestani) and Danny (Janet); her grandchildren, Anthony Crestani, Andrew Crestani and Jaydan Gillis; and her siblings, Ronald Dugas (Marg), Richard Dugas and Karen (Larry Cyr).

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all the staff of Tall Pines Long Term Care Center for the care and compassion shown to Rita and the family. In light of the current global pandemic with the present restrictions placed on group gatherings by the government, attendance at the funeral home has been restricted to a maximum capacity of 10 people.
