He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Myrle Reid and Doreen Reid; his wife Leanne; his sons, Todd (Lori) of Alliston and Tim (Charity) of Thornhill; and his sisters, Mary Lynne Williamson (Noel) of Saskatchewan and Melanie Reid. He was also cherished by his nieces and nephews.
