Roy Sidney Barnes Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Sidney Barnes (Brampton, Ontario), born in Wood Point, New Brunswick, who passed away on May 9, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Sidney Barnes and Vera Barnes (Baird); his wife Kathleen Urquhart (Kay); and his sisters, Alice, Helen and Mary.

He is survived by : his children, Lester (Nancy Baltussen), Brent (Angela Visintainer) and Carol (Steve Camp); his brother Ernest; his grandchildren, Kevin (Jennifer), Allison (Luis), Matthew and Carlin; and his great grandchildren, Finley and Frankie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Unfortunately due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be no visitation and the service will be limited to immediate family members only.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Roy's name to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
