He was predeceased by: his siblings, Edna Yool and Ilo Laws; and his parents, Cecil McKechnie and Florence McKechnie. He is survived by: his wife Georgina; his daughters, Heather Guerin (Steve) of St. Catherine, Irene Moore (Joe) of Port Cobourne, Helen McKechnie of Brampton and Barb Webb (Frank); his brother Earl of Owen Sound; his brother-in-law Allen Yool of Markdale; his grandchildren, Christopher Guerin, Kayla Rupolo (Alex), Joshua Moore, Kortney Moore (Ryan Keith), Corey McKechnie, Jolene Larkins, Jennifer Taylor (Shawn) and Donald Webb; and his great grandchildren, Hayden, Izabella, Willow, Autumn, Jaycee, Theodore, Hunter, Kierman, Lilly, Jack, Paul and Riley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Chapman House or Ontario SPCA would be gratefully appreciated.
