He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dorean Boss; his stepdaughters, Kathleen Matchett (Stephen) and Elaine Hannay (Kevin); his stepgrandchildren, Madison and Ryan; his sister Christine Bouwkamp (Jack); his nephews, Jayson Bouwkamp (Lindsay) and Stephen Bouwkamp (Julie); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jenna, Ellie, Anna, Maita, Gunnar and Jacob; and his parents, Margaret Rhodes (Hastings) and Albert Rhodes.
When the pandemic began, Steve set up Zoom meetings and migrated recorded worship services for viewing on the Church website and for live streaming on YouTube.
