He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Kathleen Oliver; his parents, Elizabeth Oliver and Vernon Oliver; and his siblings, Linda Sutherland (Oliver), Shawn Oliver, Darryl Oliver, Tyra Oliver, Margo Oliver and Roger Oliver.
He is survived by: his siblings, Vernon Oliver (Cola), Kevin Oliver (Darcel), Darcey Oliver and Lois Lethbridge (Angus); his children, Shelly Hylton (Brian), Lisa Dixon-Simpson (Lavan), Lana Oliver-Daly (Mark), Steven Oliver Jr., Michael Oliver (Rachel) and Christa Oliver; his grandchildren, Adrian, Ryan, Seante, Sherise, Cameron, Kyle, Brianna, Sheraine, Megan, Tamika, Zoe, Michael Jr., Lana, Jazmin, Jordan and Nicholas; and his great grandchildren, Darius, Shyla, Malaya, Nyla, Westly, Markus, Alexa, Alex, Bryson and Kowen.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery (10061 Chinguacousy Rd, Brampton, ON L7A0H6). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the North Park Worship Centre (395 N Park Dr, Brampton, ON L6S6A9). A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM at the Glendale Cemetery (1810 Albion Rd, Etobicoke, ON M9W5T1).
