We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2025, at the age of 82, Sydney Thomas Smith of Brampton, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Sydney may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He is survived by: his significant other Wanda Ellis; his children, Donna Rawn (Owen), Sherry Smith and Derek Smith (Tracey); his sister Jessie Williston; and his brother-in-law John Neily. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Calendrier Ward Funeral Home - Brampton Chapel (52 Main St S, Brampton, ON L6W2C5).
