He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Flynn and Bertha Flynn; and his sister Marlene. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Tammy (Darryl), Jeffrey (Lindsay) and Lisa (Dennis); his grandchildren, Quinn, Abigail, Autumn, Evelyne and Cole; his brothers, Clifford (Mary Ann) and Kevin (Dawn); and his granddaughter Abby.
