She was predeceased by: her daughter Sylvia Vassiliki Skanzou; her parents, Constandina Gastis and Peter Gastis; and her brothers, John, Nick and Tom.
She is survived by: her sister Dinah Chadwick; her daughter Sophie (James Tyrrel); her son-in-law James Tyrrel (Sophie); her grandson Benjamin Stephen Tyrrel; and her former spouse Stavros Skanzou.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Centre (50 Overlea Blvd, Toronto, ON M4H 1B6). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Greek Orthodox Church of Prophet Elias (1785 Matheson Blvd, Mississauga, ON L4W1V1). A burial was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Meadowvale Cemetery (7732 Mavis Rd, Brampton, ON L6Y5L5).
