He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Wilkie and Charles Wilkie; his brother Thomas Wilkie; his wife Ella; his sons, Colin (Heather) and Ian (Jen); and his grandchildren, Aidan, Tristan, Meghan and Sarah.
As a proud Scotsman he was a proud member of The Bramalea Celtic Club but his biggest passion was his family whom he cherished and loved dearly. In light of the current global pandemic with the present restrictions placed on group gatherings by the government, attendance at the funeral home has been restricted to a maximum capacity of 18 people. As a result, the visitation and funeral service will be by invitation only. For the health and well-being of everyone, we respectfully request that attendees at the funeral home comply with current by-laws by observing social and physical distancing and wearing masks.
William will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all his family, friends and all who knew him in Canada and Scotland.In lieu of flowers, Donations in loving memory of William to the Alzheimer's Society or Parkinson's Canada would be appreciated by the family and can be made using the links above.
