He is survived by: his children, Johannes (Annette) and Theo (Catharine); his granddaughters, Samantha, Lily and Danielle; and his brothers, Bernard and Theo. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

“Dear Johannes and Theo, we want to offer our condolences on the home going of your father. We loved him too as a dear friend...though we lived far away on Vancouver Island. We spoke to him only a few weeks ago and he told of his desire to be with the Lord. He was not enjoying the COVID isolation at all.
