She was predeceased by: her parents, John Deboer and Alice Deboer; and her brother Bob. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Anne of Brantford; her nephew Danny (Sue) of Kitchener; her niece Karen of Brantford; her great-nieces, Hannah, Abigail, Hailey and Brynlea; and her great-nephew Elias. She is also survived by aunt.

Donations in Fay's honour may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the Brant County SPCA.
