She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Melanson and Doris Melanson (Christiansen); her husband Ross Harris; and her siblings, Theresa, Donald (Jen), Henry (Esther) and Francis.
She is survived by: her sons, Wayne (Marie) and Gary (Nancy); her stepchildren, Ronald "Buddy" Dunham, June Goddard (Alan) and Joan McLong (late Carl); her grandchildren, Dawn Freer (Shawn), Natalie, Randy Russell (Jeannie) and Jeremy Russell (Carrie); her great grandchildren, Brandon, Makayla, Josh, Keelan, Anna and Evan; her brother Thomas Melanson (Liz); and her stepbrother John "Jackie" (Dallas). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
