He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Doolittle and Alvin Doolittle; and his brothers, Daniel Doolittle (Linda) and Larry Doolittle. He is survived by: his spouse Gloria; his children, Douglas (Kelly), Paul, Darryl (Tracy) and Peter (Heather); his stepchildren, Christine Scanlan and Terry Scanlan; his siblings, Donna Willson (Tim), Brian Doolittle, Darlene Daly (Alex), Sheila Robertson (Stewart), Les Doolittle (Veronica), Elizabeth Pryor and Harley Crumb; and his sister-in-law Karen Crumb.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Stedman Hospice Hankinson House or Brant County SPCA.
